When I start the car and drive for less than 1 or 2 miles then the oil indicator start blinking and also the beeping sound, the sound is so annoying. There is always oil in the engine, when I check the level. How can I stop the oil indicator beeping sound and light in 1997 VW passat?
The oil indicator is there for a reason. Like when you touch something hot, your pain sensors tell you to pull away.
If you have plenty of oil then you have one of two problems. Either you have low oil pressure or you have bad sensor (sending unit). Sending units are cheaper to fix because many times they are just by the oil filter and on the outside (just twist off and twist off).
If you have low oil pressure you have oil blockage or bad oil pump - most likely bad oil pump.
But either way this is something should should definitely FIX SOON. You don't want to leave your fingers on something hot and you don't want to drive with the oil indicator on.
Good Luck.

Oil level and oil pressure are two different things. Your engine will blow up soon unless you find the problem.
There is oil BUT THERE IS NO OIL PRESSURE. Get it checked out otherwise plan on being on the side of the highway. Something is definitely WRONG.
