Yes there is-in fact there are several but your car is burning oil because your piston rings are worn or broken. Technically speaking, the thicker the oil the less it will be forced past the piston rings and into the exhaust but it is not always a good idea to use a thick oil because obviously being thicker it does not get round the engine so well. The main purpose of the oil is to carry the heat away from the bearings as well as lubricate. As I said there are several different products on the market. STP is one-I cant remember the names of the others right now but any visit to a motoring accessory shop will enable you to ask the assistant. They work by being very sticky and help prevent gas being forced past the rings on compression (firing) Is there andy kind of special oil add in car engine to stop burning oil?
The most you can do without over haling the engine is slow down the oil burn.Oil thickeners will slow it down but it will not stop it.Some Products I have tried are S.T.P. oil thickener,Honey oil,The one I have had the best success is Engine Restore.
you can put something like ( no smoke or smoke-b- gone) in it.
