What is the difference between Lucas oil stabilizer and Lucas engine oil stop leak?

Both of the bottles say 100% petroleum and to substitue 20% of oil with the Lucas, but whats the difference. They are both really thick. What can I use to help my valve stem seals from leaking? What is the difference between Lucas oil stabilizer and Lucas engine oil stop leak?
I'll give you 100 dollars if you find 1 aftermarket solution to stop leaking valve stem seals. None of this junk works on any kind of vehicle to be honest with you. Your best bet for oil burning, bcz your valve stems are leaking is to replace your valve stems. What is the difference between Lucas oil stabilizer and Lucas engine oil stop leak?
Stabilizer stabilizes oil when you change oil, basically extending the oil life. Stop leak has teflon in it to help reseal pitted walls and seal areas. Stop leak is what you want to use from what you are wanting to do with valve stems. I hope this helps explain it a little better.

  1. If there is no indication of oil leaks on a suv with 155.000 miles what oil additive do you recommend for prevention purposes in an engine with these many miles?
