What is the best way to stop oil build up on face?

i used to have the smoothest skin ever..then one day i just got a pimple then oil came and i was like WTF this sucks....what's seriously the best way to get rid of oil on the face?What is the best way to stop oil build up on face?
Wash your face with Dial soap, morning and night. You can also use a toner (or astringent) to cut the oil, but don't use anything too drastic because if you shock your face, that will just make it think something is wrong and make it produce even more oil to compensate! Also, even though it seems counter-intuitive, you should be using a moisturizer in your morning routine. Use a very light, oil free moisturizer made for people with acne. It won't break you out, but it will keep your skin from thinking it is dry and needs to produce more moisture (oil!). Sometimes people with very dry skin will develop oil patches for this reason. So your routine should be - wash with Dial soap or other cleanser, use a mild toner, and then follow with a very light moisturizer. That routine, morning and night, should do wonders for your skin!





Also, drink a lot of water. The more water you drink, the healthier your skin will be.
