How can I stop or slow an oil leak on my own with a product, it is a '98 Infiniti q 30 Thank you now?

You don't. Anything that will stop leaks will also reduce oil flow in tight clearances. How can I stop or slow an oil leak on my own with a product, it is a '98 Infiniti q 30 Thank you now?
There's no easy way without having tools and a lift or ramps. Park it over card board or something and keep the oil topped off for now.How can I stop or slow an oil leak on my own with a product, it is a '98 Infiniti q 30 Thank you now?
I wouldn't add any of those stop leak products as they just swell your seals for a temporary fix but in the meantime they also swell up the seals that were fine so they will fail much sooner and cost you hundreds if not thousands later on than if you hadn't added that $5-10 product in the 1st place. Anything is only a temporary fix and you should get it checked out...have you had the oil changed recently? Oddly enough most techs don't properly tighten the plug on 1 out of every 10 vehicles they see in any given day.

If you haven't had one in awhile you could also go to a heavier weight oil and that will slow the leak a little (i.e from 10w-30 to a 15-50 or 20-50 oil as long as you aren't in a cold climate since the heavier weight won't be able to lubricate properly on initial startup in cold weather.

Would also help further if you knew where the leak was coming from since there are many places to choose from.
';Lucas Hydraulic Oil Booster %26amp; Stop Leak';,will stop many leaks, the company I work for tested this product for them,it stopped many leaks that i never thought it would
If the leak isn't that bad, I would leave it alone until you have money to fix it. Just think of it as a Harley, it's marking it's spot. Oil leak stop products can ruin your engine,
