A 17 y/o Chevy is due for valve cover gaskets, oil pan gaskets and crankshaft seals.How do you stop oil leakage in z28 camaro 1990?

Wheres the oil leak? You most likely need a new gasket maybe oil pan or head gasket or timing cover. Those are likely places. Parts places do carry liquid cans stuff to stop Leaks. They almost never work and will most likely cause anothr problem later.
find the seal or gasket thats leaking and replace it
how to stop it is easy , how to find it , is quite another thing.





I can think of 10 places , off the top of my head.





here is what you do .


1- have the engine ,tranny and axle steam cleaned .


2.- the next day look for leaks


3- BINGO





works every single time.





but... oh, my goes , its a chevy and it leaks everywhere.
