'what will stop a crankshaft seal oil leak?

I have a bad oil leak in my engine and can't afford any costly repairs at this time. what i need is a temporary fix for a couple of weeks. An additve or stop leak product is what I need which one is best.'what will stop a crankshaft seal oil leak?
none replace the seal.if you put sealer in the engine to stop the leak you will start to clog oil passages also.not good.'what will stop a crankshaft seal oil leak?
A new front main seal is relatively cheap and a simple fix - pop off the radiator and whatever else is in your way, dig in there with a seal puller and pull the old one, press the new one in and you should be good to go.

One hour for a pro, a few hours and a journey of discovery for a competent amateur. Get the Haynes manual for your car and get to it; it's fun.
the only sure way you can fix it, is change it, but if you cant afford to get it fixed, use some engine stop leak, like cd2, but eventually you will have to change it. cd2 is good, but not on big leaks.
stop leaks are only for fine leaks, for bad leaks you have to bite the bullet and have the seal replaced, do it now before the leaking oil destroys the rubber fitting underneath the vehjcle
Go out and buy a bottle of AT205 sealer and try it plus follow the directions on the bottle.......

Update..........It will not clog the oil passages..........
try a bottle of engine oil stop leak or thicker oil so it leaks slower. it will still leak until the seal is replaced.
Clean the PCV valve. It may relieve internal engine pressure which may be pushing oil out.
Snot Maybe?
