Global warming is a natural occurrence. Terrorists will never be stopped. They are all over the world. Neither have anything to do with the price of oil.Does more expensive oil help stop Global warming %26amp; terrorists?
Once alternatives become cheaper and on the road to being more efficient than petrol, the Saudi's will probably flood the market with cheap oil to stop our investing in alternatives. Just like they did after the 70's oil embargo. We started investing in fuel alternatives, and they saw this. To avoid becoming irrelevant, the Saudi's offered cheap oil again so we'd stop messing with alternative fuels.





Besides, studies on oil consumption showed that higher prices only lowers consumption for a small amount of time. Once people get over the price shock, it's business as usual.
There is a huge oil surplus and nobody can seem to answer exactly why oil is more expensive right now. Oddly, as various sectors of the economy collapse, oil prices are rising to prop up the economy... Happy 2008!

If global warming is caused by humans and there love for the automobile, than why have we had global warming and global cooling thousands of years ago, before auto's even existed. Al Gore is wrong. We did not cause global warming, it's a natural occurrence
