What can i use 2 stop my wood from bleeding oil paint thru?

oil base or water base paints can go over stain killing primers of any kind. Use oil base Kilz if it's interior, use zinzer's stain block if it's exterior. some stains require 2 coats of stain killer primer and sometimes an additional recoat time of 24 hrs is also needed even if the paint says otherwise.Oil base paint is not a way to block stains. talk to some one at Home Depot you sound a little confused about something... did you clean the what ever it is you are painting.......
sand lightly and you may have to do several coats of primer. I had this same problem and it took a while but finally the paint stuck and nothing bled through.
have you tried a product called kilz? it works good keeping stuff from bleeding thru paint jobs
You may need 1-2 coats of kiltz. Get it shaken at the paint store to save the trouble of stirring. And get the original kind, not the water based.
