If you are talking about epileptic type seizures, though I would like to tell you yes and though I have seen some fairly impressive testimonials about fish oil helping stop seizures, I have never found a single reputable study which backs up fish oil as having any positive effect on seizures.

If you are someone you care about has concerns about epilepsy, I recommend this article I wrote and compiled:

Omega 3 fish oils are so very vital and important to your brain and body function. I take them for bipolar and depression. I wouldn't stop taking any anti seizure medication to take these without talking to your Dr... But certainly take them anyways. They benefits are unreal. Never stop prescription medication unless you consult your Dr first.
Hi Caeleigh. I have performed a brief search of the world's medical literature on this issue using Pubmed. There is some support for the use of high doses of omega-3 fatty acids as found in fish oil (EPA and DHA) in the treatment of chronic seizures. But, the research is mostly animal trials and one, small human trial. Below are links to a couple of scientific papers (abstracts) that explore this issue.
